Review:
OPPO Find X3 Pro.
And inside the box
as well as the device, There’s a USB type A to USB type C cable, A SuperVOOC 65
watt charger which can charge, The Oppo find x3 pro price in Pakistan from zero
to 100% in just around 35 minutes.
It's a little bit
surprising having a charger included out of the box isn't it.
As well as that
inside this box we get some people work, a SIM card tool, a case mice touch
having a case included and this OPPO card.
And this is an OPPO
International Warranty Service Travel worry-free card right.
Now let's get to the
device.
(Phone cover
rustling) Okay that looks very unique I've not seen something like this before,
the camera module kind of curves up so it kind of like just rises from the body
itself, it’s not like a separate module or anything.
The glass is
actually all one piece It’s anybody piece of glass at the back.
Now OPPO said that
each piece of glass takes around 40 hours to make, I'm assuming they have lots of
these happening at the same time, otherwise we would have a very slow
production process.
(Chuckles)
And I do quite like
it Especially with this matte blue finish Which doesn't attract as many
fingerprints, There is also a gloss black finish If that's what you're into But
that we'll get lots more fingerprints.
We've got a metal
frame, and then there's curved grill glass Five pounds on the front and back, now
I'm not sure why OPPO have not gone with the latest grill glass victors.
We do have grill
glass five Maybe it was to be able to do this process they had to go with grill
glass five I don't know.
We've got IP68 water
and dust resistance, and this is pretty light coming in at around 193 grams Which
for a flagship device these days, We’re seeing an average of around 220, 230
grams.
So it's pretty
light.
And it's thin is
point it is around 8.26 millimeters thin.
Display:
Let's not move over
onto the front so got a 6.7 inch all LED display, the bezels on the punch out
format is quite similar to what we had on the Find X2 pro last year, but we do
have some key improvements.
So this is a quartz
HD plus 120 Hertz display.
The key difference
here is that this is an LTPO display What that basically means is That you've
got a dynamic refresh rate, Which means this can go all the way down To around
10 Hertz when you're viewing static content, And all the way up to 120 Hertz When
you are scrolling, needing that faster, and smoother motion And this really
helps preserve battery life.
OPPO have set around
30% improvement in battery life.
Support for HDR10+
with a peak brightness of 1300 Nits.
And in terms of my
first impressions, This display does look very good It's sharp, it's vibrant,
and it's also very smooth Thanks to that high refresh rate.
Camera:
Now let's move on to
the cameras where there's been some major changes.
So for the first
time on any smartphone I believe, we have to have the same senses for the
primary as well as the ultra-wide camera we’ve got the Sony IMX766.
So generally when we
have ultra-wide cameras, they are using an inferior sensor to the primary
sensor, but no OPPO has gone all out on both of these cameras.
They are both 50
megapixels, the primary camera does have optical image stabilization with an
f/1.8 aperture.
The ultra-wide
camera has electronic image stabilization with an f/2.2 aperture.
Now OPPO have said
that these cameras
Can capture 1 billion
colors.
So having the same
sensor on both of these is something that's very unique and very promising?
We've then got a 13
megapixel telephoto camera Which will give you three times optical zoom Five
times hybrid zoom, And we've not got the extreme Periscope zoom technology That
we had on the Find X2 Pro last year So OPPO taking a bit of a different
approach.
And then we've got a
fourth camera which is quite interesting because this is a three megapixel
microscope camera.
Okay now let me
explain this is not a macro camera because the ultra-wide camera, The 50
megapixel ultra-wide camera also doubles up as a macro camera.
So when you do get
close up, It can refocus to give you some nice macro shots, But then this
microscope camera Kind of takes things to another level Because you can get
right up to the detail Of say leaves on one of the examples OPPO talked about Was
looking at actual displays So you can see individual pixels.
Let's try this out.
So you can see here
that I've got the OPPO Find X2 pro, and as I mentioned they look very similar
from the front.
Let's put this flat
down and we'll activate the microscope camera.
Right so microscope
camera is actually activated and even though I'm right close Things have not
started to getting focused but when I'm almost touching the display, You can
see the individual pixels Look at that that is insane.
You can see all the
individual dust elements as well.
Alright that's
pretty neat, I got to say initially when I heard about this and the three
megapixels, I was kind of thinking that this will be on the same level As the
two megapixel macro cameras that we keep seeing.
But this is actually
a different take, And I think you'll be able to get some Really nice abstract
images For wallpapers and things like that And I think that's kind of the
intention of this camera.
Now of course, I
would have liked to have a high resolution So it would give it more usage, But
if you are looking at around three megapixels For a wallpaper, for example,
then that's not too bad And you can see here I've just taken this shot Literally
right now you can see all the individual pixels, And I mean, that's not too bad
that's not too bad.
Video:
OPPO has also tried
to bring improvements to videos, we also have 1 billion color capture for
video, and there's AI Highlight Video, a new feature from OPPO, Which aims to
get you the best dynamic range with details in highlights and the shadow video
as well.
Now I'm going to see
the cameras are looking Very promising on the Oppo find x3 pro price in Pakistan
I'll obviously be doing Lots more tests here the website.
So you don't miss
that coverage.
Let's now take a
look around the device On the left-hand side, there are two volume buttons On
the right-hand side, we've got a power button, At the top there's just the mic,
At the bottom we have the USB type C ports, We’ve got the SIM card tray We've
got one of the two stereo speakers.
So one is backfiring
and one is in the earpiece and they do support Dolby Atmos.
Now in terms of
what's powering the Find X3 Pro, It is of course the latest and greatest
Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip sets, With 12 gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM, And 256
gigabytes of storage.
Now we of course
have 5G but the Oppo find x3 pro price in Pakistan supports 13 5G bands.
That basically means
you'll be able to get 5G supports in more places around the world.
Battery
And for the battery,
we have a 4,500 milliamp ere battery, the charger is included 65 watt VOOC
charging, But one thing that we have this year which we did not have last year
on the Find X2 Pro.
Is wireless charging?
And this is 30 Watts
a VOOC wireless charging which can give you a full charge and it runs 84
minutes.
So obviously it's
going to be slower compared to the wire charging, but it is much faster than
traditional wireless charging.
I'm glad this is
here, reverse wireless charging is also supported and up to 10 Watts, which is
again very fast compared to the competition.
And for the software
we've got Colors 11.2 Based upon Android 11.
I really do like Colors
It’s improved so much over the years and we've got lots of useful features Such
as a customizable OS on display.
Three fingers
screenshots like so and the Oppo find x3 pro price in Pakistan will be priced
at around 1,100 pounds so up there with the flagships.
What do you guys
think of the Find X3 Pro?
Definitely let me
know in the comments below.
